Our regular B-SAFE program will be running July 8th through August 9th.

There will be an additional week of care offered August 12th - 16th with limited space for participants.*

*Week 6 will have an additional registration fee. Regular registration for B-SAFE does not guaruntee your youth a space for the optional week.

What:  The B-SAFE Program (Boston’s Summer Academic & Fun Enrichment) is a five-week, full day academic and enrichment program. Students develop skills in humanities, math, science, health & wellness, and the arts. On Fridays, students enjoy field trips and travel outside the city to lakes, farms, and parks. 

When: Monday July 8th-August 9th

8:30am to 4:00pm Monday – Friday

Who: B-SAFE is open to students entering grades 1-8

• LEARN: Grades 1-5

• YLC *(Youth Leadership Corps): Grades 6-8

 *Optional overnight camp opportunity August 5th, 6th and 7th at Barbara  C. Harris Camp in N. H.

How do I register?

In order to register you will need:

• Child’s most recent physical(after 9/2023)

• Child’s immunizations

• Child’s health insurance information

• Proof of public assistance (MassHealth, SNAP, public housing, etc.)

B-SAFE - Teen Edition. We are hiring teens to be Counselors-In-Training (CIT) for meaningful jobs that will be fully in-person, working with younger participants, and have in-person leadership development trainings, including professional development, academic coaching, career exploration, social and emotional support, and fun events. Our B-SAFE Summer Enrichment Programs provides a safe, fun, academically enriching environment for students each year. We run B-SAFE at our year-round sites in the South End and Lower Roxbury. We continue to modify our summer and after school programs to ensure that our young people and staff stay safe and healthy during COVID-19.
